Abstract

Endang. 2022. The Effect of Competency, Motivation and Work Discipline of Employees
on Improving the Quality of e-KTP Services at the Population and Civil Registration
Office of Pangkajene and Islands Districts (Ahmad Firman and Fitriany).
The aim of the study was to analyze the effect of competence on the quality of e-KTP
services at the Population and Civil Registry Office of Pangkajene and Islands Districts,
to analyze the effect of motivation on the quality of e-KTP services at the Population
and Civil Registration Office of Pangkajene and Islands Districts, to analyze the effect of
Discipline on quality e- KTP services at the Population and Civil Registration Service of
Pangkajene and Islands Districts, to analyze the variables that most influence the quality
of e-KTP services at the Pangkajene and Islands District Population and Civil
Registration Offices.
This research approach uses quantitative methods. The implementation of the
research was carried out at the Population and Civil Registration Office of Pangkajene
and Islands Districts. The time of the research was conducted from September 2022 to
October 2022. The population used in this study were all employees (ASN) at the
Population and Civil Registration Office of Pangkajene and Islands District, totaling 51
people.
The results of the study on the load variable (X1) did not have a positive and
significant effect on the quality of service at the Population and Civil Registration
Service in Pangkajene and Islands Districts. It can be seen that the calculated t value is
smaller than t table (0.195 <2.012). The motivational variable (X2) has a positive and
significant effect on the quality of service at the Population and Civil Registration
Service in Pangkajene and Islands Districts. The work discipline variable (X3) has a
positive and significant effect on the quality of service at the Population and Civil
Registration Service in Pangkajene and Islands Districts. The variables of content (X1),
motivation (X2) and work discipline (X3) together have a significant effect on the quality
of service at the Population and Civil Registration Office of Pangkajene and Islands
Districts, this can be seen in the calculated F value of 89,544 with the F table value is
2.798, so the calculated F value > F table or 89.544 > 2.798. Work discipline variable
(X3) is the variable that has the most positive influence on service quality (Y) with a value
of 0.550.
