This study aims to analyze the influence of leadership style, communication,
and work discipline on the performance of teaching staff at UPT SMPN 1 Nuha, East
Luwu Regency. The research uses a quantitative approach, the data collection method
uses a questionnaire with a total sample of 45 people. Data analysis with multiple
linear regression, and hypothesis testing is done by partial and simultaneous tests.
The results of the study show that 1) Leadership style has a positive and
significant effect on the performance of teaching staff at UPT SMPN 1 Nuha, East
Luwu Regency. 2) Communication has a positive and significant effect on the
performance of teaching staff at UPT SMPN 1 Nuha, East Luwu Regency. 3) Work
discipline has no significant effect on the performance of teaching staff at UPT SMPN
1 Nuha, East Luwu Regency. 4) Leadership style, communication, and work discipline
have a positive and significant effect on the performance of teaching staff at UPT
SMPN 1 Nuha, East Luwu Regency. 5) The communication variable is the most
dominant variable and has a major influence on performance variables.
