Abstract

C.N. Dharmawan. 2021. The Effect of the Implementation of the Performance
Assessment and Career Development Program toward Employee Performance
through Job Satisfaction at the Education, Youth and Sports Office in Selayar
Islands Regency, supervised by Sylvia Sjarlis and H. Muh. Said.
This study aims to determine and analyze the effect of implementing a
performance appraisal and career development program on performance through
job satisfaction at the Department of Education, Youth and Sports of the Selayar
Islands Regency.
The method used is a survey method through the distribution of
questionnaires. The research sample amounted to 41 respondents with sampling
using random sampling technique. The data analysis method used is the research
instrument test, classical assumption test, multiple linear regression, t test,
coefficient of determination test and path analysis.
The results of the study concluded that (the implementation of the
performance appraisal program had a positive and significant effect on employee
performance. Career development had a positive and significant effect on employee
performance. Job satisfaction had a positive and significant effect on employee
performance. The implementation of the performance appraisal program had a
positive and significant impact on job satisfaction. Development career has a
positive and significant effect on job satisfaction.The implementation of a
performance appraisal program has a positive and significant impact on employee
performance through job satisfaction.Career development has a positive and
significant impact on employee performance through job satisfaction.
