Abstract
Astriana Tolo. 2021. The Effect of Human Resource Competence Factors on Employee
Work Performance at the Binuang District Office of Polewali Mandar Regency,
supervised by Sylvia Sjarlis and Deddy Rahwandi Rahim.
This study aims to determine and analyze the influence of human resource
competency factors partially and simultaneously on employee performance at the
Binuang sub-district office, Polewali Mandar Regency.
The type of research used is descriptive research using a quantitative approach.
This study uses a questionnaire as a data collection tool and uses a Likert scale. The
population in this study were all employees at the Binuang sub-district office, Polewali
Mandar Regency with a total of 31 people. With a relatively small population, all
members of the population can be sampled. Thus the sampling method used is the
saturated sample or the census method with a total sample of 31.
The results of this study indicate that the results of the F test or simultaneous
testing show that the Fcount value is 20,934 and Ftable with a value of 2.96. So it shows
that Fcount > Ftable with a significance of 0.000 < 0.05. These results indicate that
simultaneously the human resource competence factor has a significant influence on
employee performance at the Binuang sub-district office, Polewali Mandar Regency. The
results of the t-test indicate that the competence factor of human resources which consists
of knowledge has a tcount value of 3,266 > ttable 2,051 and a significance value of 0,003
< 0,05, skills (skills) obtained a tcount value of 2,348 > ttable 2,051 and a significance
value of 0,026 < 0 0.05, and attitude obtained a tcount value of 3.669 > ttable 2.051 and a
significance value of 0.001 <0.05. From the description of the t test, it shows that
partially the competence factor of human resources has a significant influence on the
work performance of employees at the Binuang sub-district office, Polewali Mandar
Regency. The most dominant variable is attitude with the largest value of 0.471.
Meanwhile, knowledge has a value of 0.420 and skills with a value of 0.248.
