Abstract
ARYANTI RADJAB. The Influence of Democratic Leadership Style, Discipline and
Performance Allowances on Employee Performance at the Pangkep District Public
Works Service (supervised by Hari and Maryadi)
The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze (1) the influence of
democratic leadership style, discipline and performance allowances partially and
simultaneously on the performance of employees at the Pangkep Regency Public Works
Office (2) The dominant variable affects the performance of employees at the Pangkep
Regency Public Works Department. The population in this study were all employees at the
Pangkep Regency Public Works Department with a total of 60 employees. The sample used
in this study is the entire population of 60 people because the population is under 100.
This research is an associative research with a quantitative approach. Data
collection was done by using a questionnaire. Data analysis used descriptive statistics and
multiple linear regression.
The results of this study indicate that (1) There is a positive and significant effect of
democratic leadership style, discipline and performance allowances partially on the
performance of employees at the Pangkep Regency Public Works Office (2) There is a joint
influence of democratic leadership style, discipline and performance allowances on
employee performance at the Pangkep Regency Public Works Department. (3) Democratic
leadership style is the most dominant variable influencing the performance of employees
at the Pangkep Regency Public Works Service.
