Abstract
Arif Prahara. 2023. The Analysis of the Influence of Job Rotation and Democratic
Leadership Style on Performance through Job Satisfaction of Class 1 Makassar
State Detention Team Employees, supervised by Sarifuddin and Didiek Handayani

This study aims to determine and analyze the effect of job rotation and
democratic leadership style on performance through job satisfaction of Security
Team Employees of the State Detention Class 1 Makassar.
This research approach uses survey research that takes samples from one
population and uses a questionnaire as the main data collection tool. The research
population was all employees of the Makassar Class 1 State Detention Unit
Security Team and the sample used a saturated sample so that the sample in this
study consisted of 80 people.
The results show that (1) The Job Rotation has a positive and significant
effect on employee performance. (2) The Democratic Leadership Style has a
positive and significant effect on Employee Performance. 3) The Job rotation has
a positive and significant effect on employee satisfaction. 4) The Democratic
Leadership Style has a positive and significant effect on Employee Satisfaction. 5)
The Job satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on employee
performance. 6) The Job satisfaction mediates the effect of Job Rotation on
employee performance. 7) The Job satisfaction mediates the effect of the
Democratic Leadership Style on employee performance.
