Abstract
Andi Bustami. 2021. The Influence of Ability, Motivation, and Work Environment on the
Work Ethics of Extension Workers at the Livestock and Fisheries Service of the Sidrap
Regency, supervised by Mashur Razak and Harlindah Harniati.
This study aims to analyze (1) The partial and simultaneous effect of ability,
motivation, and work environment on the work ethic of extension workers at the Animal
Husbandry and Fisheries Service of Sidrap Regency (2) The most dominant variable
influencing the work ethic of extension workers at the Livestock and Fisheries Service of
Sidrap Regency.
The research design uses survey research. The population in this study were
extension agents at the Sidrap District Livestock and Fisheries Service, totaling 55 people.
Sampling in this study uses a saturated sampling technique. Data analysis technique using
multiple regression analysis.
The results show that (1) There is a partial effect of Ability, Motivation, and Work
Environment on the Work Ethics of the Instructor at the Livestock and Fisheries Service of
Sidrap Regency (2) Ability, Motivation, and Work Environment simultaneously have a
significant effect on the Work Ethics of the Extension Officer at the Livestock and Fisheries
Service Sidrap Regency (3) Capability (X1) is the most dominant factor influencing the work
ethic of extension workers at the Livestock and Fisheries Service of Sidrap Regency.
