Abstract

Aminati. 2023. The Influence of Competence, Work Environment, and Work Discipline, on
the Performance of Staff of the Water Resources Management Office of Sidenreng
Rappang Regency, supervised by Salim S. and Maryadi.
This study aims to determine (1) The influence of competence, work environment,
and work discipline partially on employee performance. (2) The influence of competency,
work environment, and work discipline variables simultaneously on the performance of
employees of the Water Resources Management Office of Sidenreng Rappang Regency.
This research used a quantitative method by distributing questionnaires to 50
respondents. Test the hypothesis with a validity test, reliability test, classical assumption
test, multiple regression analysis, t-test, f-test, and coefficient of determination.
The results show that (1) Competency has a positive and significant effect on
employee performance. (2) Work environment variables have a positive and significant
effect on employee performance variables. (3) Work discipline has no and no significant
effect on employee performance. (4) Simultaneously, competency, work environment, and
work discipline variables have a positive and significant effect on employee performance,
the Water Resources Management Office of Sidenreng Rappang Regency.
