This study aims to analyze the effect of farmer characteristics, agricultural
policies and farmer group capabilities on agricultural productivity in Balocci District,
either partially or simultaneously. The approach used in this research is a quantitative
approach. The population in this study were farmers in the Balocci sub-district. The
number of farmers in Balocci District is 1,927 people. In this study, the researcher took
10% of the total sample from the total population so that the number of samples for this
study was 193 people. This study used multiple linear regression data analysis.
The results showed that: 1) Farmer characteristics had a positive and
significant effect on agricultural productivity in Balocci District; 2) Agricultural policy
has a positive and significant effect on agricultural productivity in Balocci District; 3)
The ability of farmer groups does not affect agricultural productivity in Balocci District;
and 4) Characteristics of farmers, agricultural policies and the ability of farmer groups
have a positive and significant effect simultaneously on agricultural productivity in
Balocci . District
