Abstract

Mursad Muchsen. 2020. The Effect of Communication, Compensation, and Work Discipline toward the Civil Apparatus (ASN) Work Productivity at the Communication and Information Technology Office of Pinrang Regency, supervised by Saban Echdar and Maryadi.
This research aims to determine and analyze (1) the effect of communication,compensation, and work discipline partially and simultaneously toward the ASN work productivity at the Communication and Information Technology Office in Pinrang Regency (2) the most dominant variable affects the ASN work productivity. The research approach was a survey approach conducted at the Communication and Information Technology Office of Pinrang Regency from October to November 2019. This research used a survey method. The population in this research were all ASN at the Communication and Information Technology Office of Pinrang Regency with 71 ASN. Sampling in this research used a saturated sampling technique (census) in which all the population in this study were being sampled. The sample used were 71 people. The data analysis method used was the classical assumption test (t test, F test, R Square test, normality test and multicorrelation test) then analyzed it using Multiple Regression Analysis with the support of SPSS software version 25.0 The results show that (1) the Communication variable (X1) has a positive and significant effect toward the ASN's Work Productivity with 0.044 with a t-count
value of 2.055. Compensation variable (X2) has a positive and significant effect toward the ASN work productivity of 0.008 with a t value of 2.748 and work discipline variable (X3) has a positive and significant effect on ASN work
productivity with a value of 0.000 with a t value of 5.656 (2) work discipline ( X3) is the most dominant variable
affects the work productivity with the biggest value of 0.570 through beta test. The coefficient of determination (R square) is 0.498 which means that the independent / independent variable (X) which includes communication, compensation, and work discipline that have a contribution to the work productivity of ASN Communication and Information Technology Office of Pinrang Regency by 49.8%, while the remaining 50.2 % is affected by other variables not included in this research.
