Abstract

Nurdiana. 2024. The Influence of Digital Economy Usage on the Performance of Culinary MSMEs Actors in Makassar City, supervised by Indrawan Azis and Fitri.

This study aims to analyze the effect of digital economy usage on improving the performance of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) actors in the culinary sector of Makassar city.

The research method used is quantitative with data collection techniques through questionnaires to 90 culinary MSMEs owners. Data analysis was performed using simple linear regression to determine the extent to which the use of the digital economy affects the performance of culinary MSMEs actors. The indicators used in the performance variable of MSMEs actors are sales growth, capital growth, market growth, and profit growth.

The results show that the use of the digital economy significantly affects the improvement of the performance of culinary MSMEs actors in Makassar City. This indicates the importance of technology implementation in supporting the development of MSMEs, especially in the culinary sector. The implication of this research is the need to improve the understanding and skills of MSMEs owners in utilizing the digital economy to increase their business competitiveness and growth.
