Abstract

Muhammad Asis H. 2020. Effect of Work Climate and Work Discipline on Productivity through Employee Work Ethics at the Barru District Secretariat, guided by Dr. Muhammad Idris, SE., M.Sc and Dr. Maryadi, SE., MM.
This study aims to determine the effect of the work climate and work discipline on productivity through employee work
ethics.
The number of samples used was as many as 95 employees with
the saturated sampling method (census). Data collection was carried out through a questionnaire. Data analysis techniques using path analysis (path analysis).
The results showed that (1) work climate and work discipline
had a positive and significant effect on work productivity
with a significance value of 0.002(2) work climate and work
discipline had a positive and significant effect on work ethic with a significance value of 0,000 (3) work climate
had a positive and significant effect significant to productivity with a significance value of 0.001 (4) work
discipline has a positive and significant effect on productivity with a significance value of 0.015 (5) work
ethic has a positive and significant effect on productivity
with a significance value of 0.005 (6) the work ethic mediates the effect of the work climate on productivity with value significance of 0.0358 (7) work ethic mediates the effect of work discipline on productivity with a significance value of 0.0075.
