Abstract

M. Ilham. 2024. The Influence of Competence and Work Motivation on Employee Performance at Bank BNI (Persero) Tbk Main Branch Office Makassar, supervised by Un Dini Imran and Shandra Bahasoan.
This study aims to analyze (1) The partial influence of competence and work motivation on employee performance at Bank BNI (Persero) Tbk Main Branch Office Makassar. (2) The simultaneous influence of competence and work motivation on employee performance at Bank BNI (Persero) Tbk Main Branch Office Makassar. (3) The most dominant variable affecting employee performance at Bank BNI (Persero) Tbk Main Branch Office Makassar.
This research uses a quantitative method. The research sample consisted of 30 respondents who are permanent employees of Bank BNI (Persero) Tbk Main Branch Office Makassar, the research uses a multiple linear regression analysis method with data collection using a Likert scale questionnaire.
The research results show that (1) Competence and work motivation partially have a positive and significant effect on employee performance. (2) Competence and work motivation simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on employee performance. (3) The competence variable has the most dominant influence on employee performance at Bank BNI (Persero) Tbk Main Branch Office Makassar.
