The study aims to analyze: 1) the direct effect of work morale and work discipline on employee competence at the Regional Secretariat of Pinrang Regency, 2) the direct influence of work morale and work discipline on employee productivity at the Regional Secretariat of Pinrang Regency, and 3) indirect influence of work morale. and work discipline on employee productivity through employee
competence at the Regional Secretariat of Pinrang Regency.
This research design using survey research. This research will be carried out at the Regional Secretariat of Pinrang Regency from October to November 2019.
The population in the study was all employees at the Regional Secretariat of Pinrang Regency totaling 153 people who were sampled. The data analysis technique uses path analysis.
The results showed that: 1) there was a positive and significant effect directly on morale and work discipline on employee competence at the Regional Secretariat of Pinrang Regency, 2) there was a positive and significant effect directly on morale and work discipline on employee work productivity at the District Secretariat. Pinrang, and 3) there is a positive and indirect effect of morale and
work discipline on employee productivity through employee competence at the Regional Secretariat of Pinrang Regency.
