Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of job characteristics, work ethic, competence partially and simultaneously on employee performance and analyze the most
dominant variables affecting employee performance at the Barru Regency Inspectorate Data collection was carried out through questionnaires and documentation in the
Barru Regency Inspectorate with 34 respondents. While the data analysis techniques used are Validation and Reliability Tests, Classical Assumptions Test (data normality test, heteroscedasticity test, multicollinity test), multiple linear analysis and hypothesis testing.
The results of the study are based on t test with tcount> ttable and f test with Fcount> Ftable showing Job Characteristics, Work Ethics and Competence have a partial and simultaneous influence on employee performance at the Barru District Inspectorate.
The next result is a work ethic that has the most dominant influence on employee performance in the scope of the Barru Regency Secretariat.
