Abstract

Gazaly Rifai. 2020. The Effect of Compensation, Competence and Discipline toward Employee Performance at the Civil Service Police Unit and Firefighter Office in Takalar, supervised by Muhammad Idris and Mukhtar Hamzah.
This research aims to analyze (1) the effect of compensation, competence, and discipline partially toward employee performance (2) the effect of compensation, competence, and discipline simultaneously toward employee performance (3) the most dominant variable affects the
performance of employees at the Civil Service Police Unit and Firefighter Office in Takalar.
The research was conducted at the Civil Service Police Unit and Firefighter Office in Takalar. This research was quantitative with a population of 74 employees. Determination of the sample was done by saturation sampling technique (census). Data collection methods used were
questionnaires and document study. The analytical method used was descriptive statistical analysis and multiple linear regression analysis and SPSS Version 22.
The results show that (1) compensation (X1) of 0.411, competence (X2) of 0.310 and discipline (X3) of 0.315 have a partial effect toward employee performance at the Civil Service Police Unit and Firefghter in Takalar.
This means that compensation, competence, and discipline can improve employee performance (2) compensation (X1), competence (X2), and discipline (X3) simultaneously affect 0.931 toward the performance of employees. This means that compensation, competence, and discipline can improve employee performance at the Civil Service Police and Firefighter Office (3) compensation is the most dominant variable affects the employee performance at the Civil Service Police Unit and the Firefighter Office in Takalar.
