Abstract

Bisma Setya Laksana Anwar. 2020. The Effect of Stress, Motivation, and Job Satisfaction toward the Employee Work Performance at the Regional Secretariat in Barru Regency, supervised by Saban Echdar and Maryadi.
This research aims to determine and analyze (1) the effect of stress, motivation, and job satisfaction toward the employee work performance at the Regional Secretariat of Barru Regency (2) the most dominant variable affects the
employee work performance at the Regional Secretariat of Barru Regency.
This research approach used survey research that was conducted at the Regional Secretariat of Barru Regency in January 2020. The study population was all employees at the Regional Secretariat in Barru Regency with 95 people. The
sample selection in this was implemented using a saturated sampling method (census) by determining all populations as a total sample of 95 employees. Data analysis used
multiple regression analysis.
The results show that (1) there is a positive and significant effect of work stress partially toward the employee work performance at the Regional Secretariat in
Barru Regency with the value of tcount = 7,903, 7,312, and 8,483> ttable = 2.00. Reject H0, Accept H1. so that job stress has a significant effect toward the employee work
performance at the Regional Secretariat of Barru Regency. There is a positive and significant effect of motivation simultaneously toward the employee work performance at the Regional Secretariat in Barru Regency where the value of Fcount = 5.382 > Ftable = 2, 65. Reject H0, Accept H1, so that job stress, motivation, and job satisfaction have an effect significant toward the employee work performance (2) job satisfaction is the most dominant variable affecting the employee work performance at the Regional Secretariat in Barru Regency with the greatest determination value of
0.738.
