Abstract
Anitha Tahir. 2020. The Effects of Human Resource Competence and Leadership Style toward Civil Servant Staff (ASN) Performance through Job Satisfaction at the Regional Secretariat of Pinrang, supervised by Mashur Razak and Syarifuddin D.
This study aims to analyze (1) the direct effect of HR competence and leadership style on ASN job satisfaction at the Pinrang Regency Regional Secretariat (2) the direct influence of HR competence and leadership style on ASN
performance at the Pinrang District Secretariat (3) the indirect effect of HR competence and leadership style on ASN performance through job satisfaction at the Pinrang District Secretariat. The design of this study used a survey research conducted at the Pinrang Regency Regional Secretariat from October to November 2019. The population in the study consisted of all ASNs at the Pinrang Regency Regional Secretariat totaling 105 people and used as samples. Data analysis techniques using path analysis.
The results showed that (1) there was a positive and significant direct effect on HR competence and leadership style on ASN job satisfaction at the Pinrang District Secretariat (2) there was a positive and significant direct effect on HR competency and leadership style on ASN performance at the District Regional Secretariat Pinrang (3) there is an indirect and significant positive effect on HR competency and leadership style on ASN performance through job satisfaction at the Pinrang District Secretariat.
