Andi Indriapati. 2020. The Effects of Education and Training, Motivation and Work Culture toward Staff Performance at the Regional House of Representatives (DPRD) Secretariat in Pinrang Regency, supervised by Mashur Razak and Muhammad Hidayat.
This study aims to determine the effect of education and training, motivation and work culture toward staff performance at the DPRD Secretariat in Pinrang Regency.
This study used a quantitative approach with a survey method. This type of study was associative explanatory. The study was conducted at the Pinrang Regency with all Civil Servants Staff as population at the DPRD Secretariat in Pinrang Regency. The sample was obtained by census technique, which took a total population of 45 staff. Data were analyzed using descriptive analysis technique and regression analysis to determine the description and its effect between variables. This study used three independent variables namely education and training (X1), work motivation (X2), and work culture (X3) and the dependent variable namely staff performance (Y).
The results show that education and training, motivation, and work culture affect the staff performance at the DPRD Secretariat in Pinrang Regency. The result of the regression analysis shows a significant effect between the independent variables namely education and training (X1), work motivation (X2), and work culture (X3) with the dependent variable namely staff performance (Y). The biggest effect occurred at the education and training variable (X1) by 48.5%, followed by the work motivation variable (X2) by 31.8%, and the smallest is the work culture variable (X3)
by 28.6%. Simultaneously, there is a significant and positive effect between education and training, motivation and work culture toward the staff performance at the DPRD Secretariat in Pinrang District with 65.6% while the rest is affected by other factors that are not being the object of study with a percentage of 34.4%.
