This study aims to identify and provide an overview of the role of environmental accounting on waste management at H. Padjonga Dg. Ngalle Kab. Takalar.
For the analysis method, this study uses a qualitative descriptive to describe the reality of the events studied.
The results of this study indicate that RSUD H. Padjonga Dg. Ngalle Kab.
Takalar has not implemented environmental accounting following accounting standards. Hospitals should manage environmental accounting to make it easier to evaluate hospital performance. The costs incurred can be more focused and can reduce more considerable costs due to lack of prevention on environmental management. Environmental costs should also be given special treatment to make it easier to track expenses for environmental management because the
amount of the expenses incurred by hospitals is relatively large.
