This study aims to determine (1) the Promotional Strategy for the Malino Pinus Forest Area in increasing people's income (2) The role of the local government in generating the Malino Pinus Forest Area Destination.
This study uses a descriptive analysis test method with a qualitative research type.
The results of the study show that the promotion strategy carried out by the Malino City Pine Forest Area Destination in Increasing Regional Original Income is to collaborate with travel agency agents, banners by spreading information through social media such as Websites, Twitter, TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook. Installation of tourist sites on google maps, and some information conveyed by customers who have visited the Malino Pine Forest Area to potential
customers by word of mouth. The role of the Gowa Regency Tourism and Culture Office in Generating Pine Forest Areas includes development and promotion, facilities and infrastructure, and environmental management strategies.
