Andi Hanifah Nurin. 2022. The Influence of Work Environment, Competence, and Work Motivation on the Performance of the Bulukumba Police Satreskrim Investigators in Handling Cases through E-Mp (Electronic Investigation Management), supervised by Ahmad Firman and Asri.
The performance of investigators at the Bulukumba Police Criminal Investigation Unit has become the attention of the leadership seeing the number of case reports that have been reported, so that the use of EMP is expected to improve the performance of members in handling cases.
This research was conducted from April to May at the Bulukumba Police Criminal Investigation Unit. The study was conducted to determine the effect of the Work Environment,Competence and Motivation partially on the Investigator's Performance and also to find out the influence of not Direct Work Environment, Competence and
Motivation on Investigator Performance through E-MP. Data obtained through questionnaires distributed to the entire population of Criminal Investigation Unit members using saturated sampling (census) in orderto obtain 51 respondents. Data were processed quantitatively by using call Smart PLS.
Based on the path coefficient results obtained, it is known that; The work environment does not affect the performance of investigators, which is caused by the mindset that every member of the Indonesian National Police is ready to take on the responsibility of the task under any conditions. Competence has a positive effect on the performance of investigators. Motivation does not have a positive effect on the performance of investigators where some of the motivation indicators used are not fulfilled in the facts on the ground. The work environment has no effect on E-MP.
Competence has a positive effect on E-MP because at the research site, only personnel who have good IT skills are working on reporting using EMP. Motivation does not have a
positive effect on E-MP where at the research location there are no incentives or the like for members who use EMP. EMP has no effect on the performance of Investigators because the personnel who use EMP are only a small part of the total population.The Work Environment, competence, and work motivation don’t affect the performance of investigators through E-MP.
