Abstract

Musa Djawad. 2021. The Effect of Competence, Work Environment and Work Commitment on Employee Performance at the Office of Trade and Industry in Gowa Regency, supervised by Muhammad Idris and Asri.
This study aims to analyze the effect of (1) partially competence, work environment and work commitment to employee performance at the Gowa Regency Trade and Industry Service (2) the simultaneous influence of competence, work environment and work commitment to employee performance at the Gowa Regency Trade and Industry Service (3) the most dominant variable influencing employee performance at the Department of Trade and Industry, Gowa Regency.
This study was conducted on the employees of the Office of Trade and Industry, Gowa Regency. Determination of the sample using saturated technique by taking the entire population, as many as 48 employees. The data collection methods used were questionnaires and document studies. The analytical method used is descriptive statistical analysis and multiple linear regression analysis.
The results of the study conclude that (1) partially Competence, work environment and work commitment have a positive and significant effect on employee performance at the Department of Trade and Industry, Gowa Regency. This means that competence, work environment and work commitment can improve employee performance at the Gowa Regency Trade and Industry Service (2) simultaneously Competence, work environment and work commitment have a positive and significant effect on employee performance at the Gowa Regency Trade and Industry Service (3) partially shows that the work environment variable has a dominant effect on the
performance of the Gowa Regency Trade and Industry Office, this shows t hat the better the employee's work environment will further improve the employee performance at the Gowa regency trade and industry service.
