Abstract

Sitti Rohana. 2021. Effect of Motivation, Discipline and Work Environment on Employee Performance at the Research, Development and Planning Agency of Polewali Mandar Regency (supervised by Maryadi and Sylvia Sjarlis).
This study aims to determine and analyze the effect of motivation, discipline and work environment partially and simultaneously on the performance of the Research, Development and Planning Agency of Polewali Mandar Regency.
The type of research used is quantitative research where this study uses a survey method with multiple regression analysis techniques to determine between the dependent variable and the independent variable. This study uses a
questionnaire as a data collection tool and uses a Likert scale. The population in this study were all employees of the Research Development and Planning Agency of Polewali Mandar Regency, amounting to 42 people. The sample used in this study is the total population, this is because the population in this study is relatively small.
The results of this study indicate that the results of the F test or simultaneous testing indicate that the Fcount value is 81.649 and Ftable is 2.83. So it shows that Fcount > Ftable with a significance of 0.000 < 0.05. These results indicate that simultaneously motivation, discipline and work environment have a significant influence on the performance of the employees of the Research, Development and Planning Agency of Polewali Mandar Regency. The results of the t-test showed that motivation obtained a tcount value of 2.190 > ttable 2.018 and a significance value of 0.035 > 0.05, discipline obtained a tcount value of 3.288 > ttable 2.018 and a significance value of 0.002 > 0.05, and the work
environment obtained a tcount value of 7.594 > ttable 2.018 and significance value 0.000 > 0.05. From the description of the t test, it shows that partially motivation, discipline and work environment have a significant influence on the
performance of the employees of the Research, Development and Planning Agency of Polewali Mandar Regency.
