Abstract

Darwis Pure. 2021. The Influence of Discipline and Motivation on the Performance of Civil Servants at the Education and Culture Office of Sidrap Regency Moderated
by Leadership Style, supervised by Maryadi and Deddy Rahwandi Rahim.
This study aims to analyze the effect of motivation on the performance of civil servants at the Education and Culture Office of Sidrap Regency. To analyze the effect of discipline on the performance of civil servants at the Education and Culture Office of Sidrap Regency. To analyze the effect on the Performance of Civil Servants at the Education and Culture Office of Sidrap Regency which is moderated by leadership style. To analyze the effect of Discipline on the Performance of Civil Servants at the Education and Culture Office of Sidrap Regency which is moderated by leadership style.
This research uses two approaches, namely descriptive approach and explanatory approach. The data collection methods used are questionnaires and document studies. The analytical method used is descriptive statistical analysis and path analysis.
The results of the study show that: 1) Partially indicate that the Work Discipline variable affects the leadership style. 2) Partially shows that the motivational variable affects the leadership style. 3) Partially shows that the work discipline variable has an effect on employee performance. 4) Partially shows that the motivation variable has an effect on employee performance. 5) Partially shows
that the leadership style variable has an effect on employee performance. 6) Work Discipline has an indirect effect on employee performance through leadership style.
7) Motivation has an indirect effect on employee performance through leadership style.
