Abstract

Chya Liesta Suddin, 2021. The Effect of Ability and Job Satisfaction on Work Motivation through Employee Performance at the Bantaeng Regency Environmental Service, (guided by Mashur Razak and Harlindah Harniati Arfan).
This study aims to determine and analyze the effect of ability and job satisfaction on work motivation through the performance of employees at the Bantaeng Regency Environmental Service.
This research was carried out at the Bantaeng Regency Environmental Service. The research data was obtained through a survey of all employees in the Bantaeng Regency Environmental Service, which amounted to 64 people. Data were collected using a questionnaire with a Likert scale which was distributed to all research respondents. Data analysis used multiple linear regression and path analysis with SPSS 26 software.
The results of this study are known that (1) there is a positive and significant influence on the performance of employees at the Bantaeng Regency Environmental Service (2) There is a positive and significant effect of job satisfaction on employee performance at the Bantaeng Regency Environmental Service. (3) There is a positive and significant effect of employee performance on work motivation at the Bantaeng Regency Environmental Service (4) There is a positive but not significant effect on work motivation at the Bantaeng Regency Environmental Service (5) There is a positive and significant effect of job satisfaction on motivation work at the Bantaeng District Environmental Service (6) Employee performance is able to mediate the relationship between ability and work motivation at the Bantaeng District Environmental Service (7) Employee
performance is able to mediate the relationship between job satisfaction and work motivation at the Bantaeng District Environmental Service.
