This study aims to analyze the effect of competence, discipline and additional income on the performance of the State Civil Apparatus at the Department of Industry,
Trade, Cooperatives, Small and Medium Enterprises, Selayar Islands Regency, partially and simultaneously. This study uses quantitative methods with multiple linear regression
analysis techniques. The sample of this study amounted to 39 people, using the saturated sample technique, meaning that all the population was sampled.
The results showed that partially, competence, and discipline had a positive and significant effect on the performance of ASN, while additional income had no significant effect on the performance of the State Civil Apparatus. Simultaneously, competence, discipline and income have a positive and significant effect on ASN performance. The results of the coefficient of determination show that 63.8% of employee performance is influenced by the variables of competence, discipline and additional income, the rest
(36.2%) is influenced by other variables outside of this study.
