Abstract

Agus Adrianto. 2019. The Effect of Employee Competence, Compensation, and Level of Discipline toward Employee Performance at the Class I Makassar Navigation District Office, supervised by Nurdin Brasit and Hasmin Tamsah.
The purpose of this study is to determine and analyze the effect of competence, compensation and level of employee discipline toward employee performance at the Class I Navigation District Office in Makassar.
This study used an ex post facto (non-experimental) approach with a correlational design. This study conducted at the Class I Navigation District Office of Makassar. In this study, the population was all employees at the Class I
Makassar Navigation District Office, as many as 230 people, and the technique for determining the number of samples was the Slovin formula so that a sample of 72 people was obtained by sampling using simple random sampling technique. The analysis used is descriptive analysis and multiple linear regression analysis.
The results of this study indicate that (1) competence has a positive and significant effect toward employee work productivity at the Class I Navigation Makassar District office (2) compensation has a positive and significant effect toward employee performance at the Class I Makassar Navigation District office (3) Discipline level has a positive and significant effect toward the work productivity of the Class I Navigation Makassar District office employees (4) Competence, Compensation and Discipline Levels simultaneously have a positive and significant effect toward Employee Performance at the Class I Navigation District Office Makassar.
