Abstract

Usman. 2021. The Influence of Education Level, Placement and Motivation on the Performance of General Staff and Equipment of the Regional Secretariat of Polewali Mandar Regency (supervised by Saban Echdar and Sudirman Dandu).
This study aims to determine and analyze the effect of education level, placement and motivation on the performance of general staff and equipment partially and simultaneously on the performance of general staff and equipment of the Regional Secretariat of Polewali Mandar Regency.
This study uses quantitative methods with multiple regression analysis techniques to determine between variables and independent variables. This study uses a questionnaire as a data collection tool and uses a Likert scale. In this study, the researcher determined that the population was 65 people who were in the General and Office Equipment section of the Regional Secretariat of Polewali Mandar Regency. the sample used is a saturated sample which means that all the population is sampled, then the sample used in this study is 65 respondents, while the sample technique used is the census sample technique which means that all samples in this study will be respondents.
The results of this study indicate that the results of the F test or simultaneous testing show that the Fcount value is 11.611 and Ftable is 2.76. So it shows that Fcount > Ftable with a significance of 0.000 < 0.05. These results indicate that simultaneously the level of education, placement and motivation have a significant influence on the performance of general staff and equipment of the Regional Secretariat of Polewali Mandar Regency.
The results of the t-test showed that the education level obtained a tcount value of 1,231 < ttable 1.999 and a significance value of 0.023 > 0.05, placement obtained a tcount value of 1.232 < ttable 2.019 and a significance value of 0.023 > 0.05, and motivation obtained a value of tcount 0.607 > ttable 1.999 and significance value 0.046 > 0.05. The partial description shows that the level of education, placement and motivation does not have a significant influence on the performance of the general staff and equipment of the Regional Secretariat of Polewali Mandar Regency.
