The purpose of this study was to determine the influence of the family environment, school environment and community environment on the formation of religious character.
Also to determine the simultaneous influence and determine the dominant variable that influences the formation of the religious character of class IX students at UPT SMPN 40
Kepulauan Selayar and UPT SMPN 15 Kepulauan Selayar.
This study uses a quantitative descriptive method. The data used are primary data and secondary data generated from the distribution of questionnaires, observations and document records. The analytical tool used is statistical analysis, namely multiple linear regression analysis with proof of the hypothesis through t test to prove the relationship between the independent variable and the dependent variable partially and the F test to prove the relationship between the independent variable and the dependent variable
simultaneously. There are 86 class IX students who are the population as well as samples with saturated sampling technique of Class IX students of UPT SMPN 40 Kepulauan
Selayar and UPT SMPN 15 Kepulauan Selayar.
The results of the study were the t-count value of 2.726 > t table 2.00 family environment variable (X1) had a positive and significant effect on religious character tcount 3,036 > t table 2.00 school environment variable (X2) had a positive and significant effect on religious character t-count 2.364 > t table 2.00 (n-85 alpha 5%) Community Environment variable (X3) has a positive and significant effect on Religious Character Simultaneous test F test of 0.000 at a significant level of 0.05. This value is smaller than 0.05, meaning that the Family Environment, School Environment and
Community Environment affect the Religious Character. The value of the School Environment variable is the variable that most dominantly affects the Religious Character of grade IX students at UPT SMPN 40 Kepulauan Selayar and UPT 15 in Kepulauan Selayar, Archipelago Regency. Selayar is a School Environment.
