Abstract

Sri Mardhani. 2021. The Effect of Human Resources Quality, Motivation and Work Discipline on Employee Performance at the Agricultural Training Center (BBPP) Batangkaluku Kab. Gowa, supervised by Syamsu Alam and Mukhtar Hamzah.
This study aims to (1) analyze the effect of the quality of human resources,motivation and work discipline on performance either partially or simultaneously (2) to determine the dominant variables affect performance.
The research was conducted from November to December 2020 at the Batangkaluku Agricultural Training Center (BBPP). Based on the population of the Central Agricultural Training Center employees as many as 141 people, the number of samples based on the Slovin formula was determined
as many as 105 respondents. The instrument of this research used a questionnaire which was distributed to the respondents. The research method applies a quantitative approach by testing hypotheses using multiple linear
regression models.
The results show that the quality of human resources had a significant positive effect partially on performance where tcount was 3.696 > ttable was 1.983 with a significance of 0.000 <0.05. Motivation has a partially significant negative effect on performance where tcount is -5.116 > ttable is
1.983 with a significance of 0.000 <0.05. Discipline has a partially significant positive effect on performance where tcount is 6238 > ttable is 1,983 with a significance of
0.000 <0.05. The variables of HR quality, motivation and discipline have a simultaneous effect on performance where Fcount is 20,078 > Ftable is 2.69 with a significance of 0.000 <0.05. The results of the calculation of the value
of determination indicate that the dominant variable has an effect on performance, namely the motivation variable of 1,061. R square value of 0.374 indicates that the research variables used are able to explain the performance variables with anaccuracy of 37.4%.
