Abstract

A.Murniati. 2022. The Influence of Work Motivation, Rewards and Punishment on Employee Performance at the Social Service Office of South Sulawesi Province, guided by Maryadi and Deddy Rahwandi Rahim.
This study aims to determine and analyze: the effect of work motivation,reward and punishment on employee performance at the social service office of South Sulawesi province, as well as the most dominant variable affecting the
performance of the social service office employee in South Sulawesi province.
This research approach uses quantitative research. The research was conducted at the Social Service Office of South Sulawesi Province. The time of the study was carried out in December 2021. The research population was the employees of the Social Service Office of South Sulawesi Province, totaling 62 people.
The results of the study show that: 1) There is a partial effect of work motivation on the performance of the Social Service Office of South Sulawesi Province 2) There is no partial effect of giving rewards on the performance of the
employees of the Social Service Office of South Sulawesi Province 3) There is a partial effect of punishment on employee performance. Social Service Office of South Sulawesi Province 4) There is a positive and significant effect simultaneously (simultaneously) on the performance of the employees of the Social Service Office of South Sulawesi Province. 5) The variable of work motivation has the most dominant influence on the performance of the employees
of the Social Service Office of South Sulawesi Province.
