This study aims to determine and analyze (1) the effect of the work environment, job satisfaction, and job stress partially and simultaneously on the performance of
employees at the Regional Secretariat of Pinrang Regency (2) the most dominant variable affecting employee performance at the Regional Secretariat of Pinrang Regency.
This research design uses survey research that takes a sample from one population and uses a questionnaire as the main data collection tool. The study was conducted at
the Pinrang Regency Regional Secretariat from October to November 2019. The population in the study were all 52 employees of the Pinrang Regency Regional Secretariat. The sampling technique used in this study is census sampling or
saturated sample, i.e., the number of samples is the entire population. The number of samples in this study was 52 respondents. Data analysis used multiple regression
analysis.
The results show that (1) work environment, jobsatisfaction, and job stress partially and simultaneously affects the performance of the employees of the Regional Secretariat of Pinrang Regency (2) work stress is the most dominant variable affecting the performance of the employees of the Regional Secretariat of Pinrang Regency.
