This study aims to determine and analyze the influence of discipline and motivation, either directly or indirectly through job training, on the productivity of transmigration residents in the Rajang Transmigration Settlement Unit, Pinrang Regency. This type of research is explanatory research. The population used in this study were all residents of UPT Rajang who had attended job training at the Manpower and Transmigration Office of Pinrang Regency. The sample selection in this study was carried out using a saturated sampling method (census) by determining all populations as a total sample of 43 residents. Data were analyzed by path analysis.
The results showed that (1) discipline and motivation had a direct effect on training, (2) training had a direct effect on productivity, (3) discipline and motivation had no direct effect on productivity, (4) discipline and motivation had a direct effect on productivity through training for residents in Rajang transmigration settlement unit, Pinrang Regency.
