Abstract
Husnul Hatima. 2025. The Influence of Interpersonal Communication and Work Discipline on Employee Performance at the Barru Regency Education and Culture Office, supervised by Nurlaela and Iradat Rayhan Sofyan.
This study aims to analyze (1) the partial influence of interpersonal communication and work discipline on employee performance at the Barru Regency Education and Culture
Office, (2) the simultaneous influence of interpersonal communication and work discipline on employee performance at the Barru Regency Education and Culture Office, and (3) the
most dominant variable influencing employee performance at the Barru Regency Education and Culture Office.
The study employed a quantitative approach. The research sample consisted of 50 respondents who are permanent employees at the Barru Regency Education and Culture
Office. The study utilized multiple linear regression analysis, with data collected through questionnaires using a Likert scale.
The research findings indicate that: (1) Individually, interpersonal communication and work discipline have a positive and significant influence on employee performance.
(2) Collectively, interpersonal communication and work discipline have a positive and significant influence on employee performance. (3) The variable of work discipline has the most dominant influence on employee performance at the Barru Regency Education and Culture Office.
